The "Siege of Fort Randolph" will be held May 19-21, 2006 at Fort Randolph in Point Pleasant, WV. There will be a reenactment of the murder of Chief Cornstalk in 1777 and the subsequent siege of the fort by the Shawnee in 1778. Reenactors portraying this time period are welcome to participate(Indians or Virginians). Camping is permitted, and firewood, water, etc.. is available at no cost. Cabins are available on a first serve basis. The actual battle reenactments are Saturday May 20th at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. There will be a dinner saturday evening for reenactors, and there will also be an auction to benefit the fort. The website is[url] www.fortrandolph.com[/url] Hope to see you there.
