Sight Question

I have a Thompson Center Hawken 50 and I installed a Lyman 57Sml Peep rear sight on it. I need to do something with the original rear sight and was thinking if I could find a Pop-Up sight that would lay fairly flat on the barrel top would be great and cover the screws. That way I could utilize it when the peep sight is removed, does anyone have a suggestion on such a sight I could use..

Don't know what a pop up sight is but when I installed a peep on my T/C I simply removed the top part of the sight and put the sight and spring in a well marked plastic bag.

You might try Ebay. The only ones I have ever seen were on modern rifles so it may be difficult to find one that would fit properly. Good luck.

All the flip up rear sights I’ve seen were dove tailed
