Just cut up a worn out silk pillowcase. Took one patch out today lubed with Bore Butter. Shot a .440 PRB out of my T/C Hawken at an empty milk jug from fifty yards. Missed. Missed again with linen patch. Windy day & cold. Third shot another linen patch, but a light load as my horn emptied before it filled the measure. Hit target. Go figure.

Will try again soon. If they don't work they can be cleaning patches.
