I'm having a hard time finding a screw like this. I only need one. I'm almost positive it's a M4 thread. I can get about five full turns in smoothly in my thread checker but then it starts binding. Probably dirty threads. Do you know if this is some kind of unique screw? It holds the brass ram rod guides/holders that screw onto the underside of the barrel. See pictures for details. Thanks!

Ace Hardware has a lot of small metric screws.

The closest type of screw with the head you show I have only seen referred to specifically as a Weaver Style screw, which is cone shaped up from the threads but then with a straight edge around a slightly domed top surface. If you can't find exactly what you need in an M4-0.7 size, you may have to settle for one in a standard flat head configuration and turn down the sharp outer edge to flatten it using an electric drill or a drill press and a file. Good luck!

I'm going to try that. I was thinking the same.

Thanks to Clint Meier for mentioning Weaver style. Scope rings and mounts use the same type screw. I ordered some #8-40 screws from Amazon that will arrive tomorrow. I'm confident they are the correct screws. I was going the wrong direction looking for M4 screws.
