Brown Bear... As mentioned, my friend had a bad expererance with them. I've looked and heard of good things of Ray & Co.My up close opinion is like most things is some good and some bad news. Bad part my friend has left b.p. shooting for now due to frustration with the rifle.

I sent an e-mail to him on Sat. March 9 and it came back as undeliverable.

I bought a kit from Ray at sitting fox. The kit arrived at my builder with a bark inclusion with a inlay to cover it up. My builder worked it out with ray and i finally got my gun but what a pain it was. My gun took 3 weeks longer than it should have. My builder said he would not build another kit from them. My builder is a builder for north star west, so he has a bit of a clue what is going on. YMMV

Another fella & I were (mostly him) talking about putting some guns together for Sitting Fox. We (he) got 2 kits to assemble. I put a barrel in, inlet the lock, installed the trigger and then passed it off to the other fella. He finished the gun. Sitting Fox (Ray) paid promptly and was happy with the results of the 1st gun. We (he) sent the 2nd kit back to him though because I didn't want to commit to making any more guns. I can't say the parts were inferior just not the best parts combination for the style of gun being assembled.
