I'm looking for a sling for my P-H Enfield 1858 2 band.

Is the Leatherman Antique Leather Sling from Cabelas a good match?

I don't know if its a match but I have one and like the look and the fact that it very well could be what a 200 year old sling would have been. Only problem I had was the back pocket that fits over the butt was a tad to large and slipped off occasionally I used a peice of rawhide to cinch it tighter. problem solved. Looks great on my 62 cal.fullstock Hawkin flinter.

I would google Civil War sutlers and I bet you turn up a dozen or more sites with people willing to sell you an authentic repro of an Enfield 2-bander sling. Might even turn up an original.

You can get a sling from Fall Creek Suttlery for less than twenty that is made to fit your musket. I own two. It is made to be removed easly. You have to remove the sling to clean the musket. Hope this helps.
