Thank, Mike. I'll keep looking but if I do not locate the proper size one, or if I cannot make one fit properly, then I reckon I'll be sticking with the Lyman 57 sight.
I don't think you can go wrong with they 57. They are not my cup of coffee but no doubt a good solution.

I measured the sight spring with a caliper and here's what I came up with.

Width: .111
Length: .200
There are two full coils excluding the two end coils.
 
Regarding the lace on sling. I have a suede model I believe I got from TOW. Works fine, but beware of leaving it on long term as it can hold moisture and tarnish or rust any metal that it comes in contact with.
