WANTED Slotted 8-32 with positive stop

My TC hawken has the third hole drilled in the tang for a peep sight. I'm not using a peep right now and I can't find a filler screw. It is threaded 8-32, and I'd like to find one with a positive stop (head wider than the screw threads) if they are out there. Does anyone have one in a drawer somewhere?

It is not counterbored, I need a head that sits pretty flat.

You are positive its 8-32? I found them online with the positive stop in 8-40, but no 8-32.

My local hardware Ace hardware has a bin labeled 'Gun Screws'. Tiny and oddball screws and plugs. They had the 3-56 screw that I needed for a 66LA sight. If they had that, they might well have what you're looking for.

Nice score on the 3-56!! Bizarre size. My Ace does not have such a thing unfortunately.

Thanks, I was able to find one of those at the hardware store. It was also my positive confirmation on 8-32. I'll keep looking for the slotted/pos stop. I might end up having to make one...

That is the other option. It's cleaner if I could find the right one, but maybe they don't exist.

Local hardware store should have them. It is a common thread size.
