Tomorrow I'll start assembling the rifle. Today I sealed all the inlets and finished the barrel. It should be makin' smoke in a few days.
 
Looking forward to seeing the complete rifle! What do you use to seal the inlets? I apply some danish oil and let it soak in. When dry I put a coat of lacquer in the lock inlet - dries fast and keeps fouling, water, from making wood in the lock inlet from getting mushy over time.
