Is it just me or is it a lot easier to shoot flier-free small groups, consistently, with 45 and larger prbs (from a bench) than with 36 and smaller prbs?
This is not a gripe, but, I find that even with deliberate and repititious loading and bore prepping, my 36 caliber just LOVES to throw a flier to ruin an otherwise decent group! Compare this to shooting monotonous ragged holes at 25 with many of my larger bores.
Anybody else experience similar results? I love taking the smaller bores to the range and one reason is the challenge of making them group as consistently as my bigger rifles.
