Might go well as part of that oatmeal and blackpowder "fast-food", "power breakfast". All seriousness aside, I grew up with a couple of originals like that and think a shoot-able version would be a lot of fun to play with.

about dispatching a deer i think your right, i was thinkin squirrels but now that i see the pistol and hear what it cant do i aint goin after squirrels with it. Thanks

I shot my Twister at a pine tree at 10 feet. It put a small dent in the bark and bounced back three feet.

You actually hit a tree from 10 feet? what were you aiming at a barn door? I understood that they were as accurate as a pepperbox. Aim at a barn you hit a tree.

It was a big tree. Storm bout knocked it down on my house and had to have it cut down. It was 89 years old. I could've prolly hit it with my eyes closed. Besides I didn't say how many shots it took. :rotf:

If Dixie doesn't have the spring give Deer Creek a call thats who they get them from, if Fagle doesn't have one he could tell ya what will work. Fred :hatsoff:

My first muzzle loader was a snake eyes pistol, It was fun to shoot but with 10g powder at 5 paces you could lodge a ball about half it's thickness into a sheet of plywood, And you could almost hit the front door from across the room :rotf:
I somehow managed to get one of these, years ago. Was just gonna use it for decor. Now that I got an 1851, I was thinking about shooting it. Now, I probably won’t just because rock beats paper but paper beats snake eyes😂😂
