So what do you do when Track of the Wolf is out of Northwest Trade Gun triggers?

You guessed it. Pull out the C-Clamps.

But wait. There's more.

This style trigger allows me to gain an extra 1/4" to 3/8" LOP.

And I think it suits the Trade Gun look I'm shooting for. The TOTW fowler trigger is too swept back.

Making triggers is enjoyable work and also quite easy to do. The only MLers of mine that had purchased triggers were from kits { 2}.

WTG, I like your style! Help me understand why more LOP is a plus? Do I assume the LOP was too short to begin with?

I roughed out the stock and LOP based on a lock I purchased but returned. The new lock is longer. Pushing the sear bar back and shortening the LOP. The swept back fowler trigger made things worse. This trigger comes straight down. Now the LOP is 14" without a thin Trade Gun butt plate installed. Will make final adjustments when the new butt plate arrives.
