Here is a beautiful transitional longrifle builder unknown but completely redone by Terry Briggs of maine. A great builder in his own right. .62 caliber 36 inch barrel , 13 and 1/4 inch LOP. Is it a straight or swamped barrel? What's it weigh? What's transitional mean? Thanks for your time.

Transitional means the evolution between the jeager and the longer rifle we are familiar with. Made by Germans here in the states. Ie the Edward Marshall rifle. Straight barrel weight is about 8 pounds

That's what I thought, except for barrel length and maybe the RR pipes it looks exactly like my jaeger. What's the weight?
