A new haversack style forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement. The body of the bag is made from a striped wool vintage blanket and fully lined with a double interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is veg tanned leather, with a hair-on deer insert and painted folk art designs. The strap in a heavy woven jute webbing. The bag measures 12x14 with a 54” strap. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
