I used a silver solder / flux paste. Cant remember the name. Flowed around 500 degrees, held sight ramps, scope bases, vent ribs etc worked well. I ordered it many years ago from Brownells. Check to see if they still list it.I have a product that comes in a small white plastic jar. You mix it up, slather it on the metal parts, clamp them together and simply heat with a torch. I can't seem to find this product again, can anyone tell me what it is?
Brownell's also offers silver solder/braze in a paste. The 1200° 55% silver stuff.I used a silver solder / flux paste. Cant remember the name.
