I would like to know if the Taylors cleaning patches work well for cleaning after shooting Black or Pyrodex or do I stick with hotwater and soap? Thank you

I guess I'm just cheap. I use soap and water.
I'll buy used bed sheets at the local thrift store for cleaning patches.

Yard sale, thrift shop, Wally-world cheap cotton flannel. Cut to size, add hot water and dish soap—-

Old threadbare T-shirts become my cleaning patches. I never seem to run out and the cost is right.

Double napped cotton flannel from Wal Mart or any fabric store makes the best cleaning patches money can buy.
