I used to do a little horn making a long time ago. I did 2 or three Scrimshaw sets (main horn and priming horn) for Addy Davis when she had a shop over in Indiana. I sold a couple more but rifle making was more my kind of work.

No I'm not a member. I did these just to see if I could. I must have a "creative" gene in me. I have always liked making things. The big horn was a copy of one in Grancsay's book on powder horns. The ones a did for Addy Davis were also copies from this book.
How do you get the horn white again after inking in the drawings you etch into the horn?
