The barrel measures 25.25" x 15/16" and the lop is 13". Over all it's short, very well balanced and with a little more heft than you might expect. I going to have to shoot it before I have any right naming it. The only other rifle I ever named was my .40 flint LL; Lil' Red.
 
Looking good. I might think about stripping and sanding down the wooden ramrod to stain it a darker hue closer to the color of the nice looking stock. Good shootin' !!
 
Interesting that you mentioned the rod. I did stain it and all it did was to pop out the grain; hardly any darkening at all. It's hickory and I've never had much success staining hickory. Any suggestions?
 
My success echos yours when it come to staining ramrods. I recently refinished one of my Renegades. I applied many good coats of stain. Only thing accompolished was it developed a nice grain.
