So I bought another pistol today, a Pietta 1858 44 cal steel frame. It’s from around 2007 but brand new unfired and has Treso nipples with it. Now I have a 44 to match my 36, can’t wait to get to range and try it out. I guess that puts me to 4 pistols and a rifle this month, now I need to make time for range.

I have the 36 and 44 shorty. They are very nicely balance. But my target model is still the more accurate.

I have to say my 36 is a nicer gun, it’s out of the late 70’s and just seems better quality. Nothing wrong with the new one, just not as tight feeling. Shorty is the 36 cal
