I'm located in SE Kansas and have been shooting BP since I was 14. My dad let me buy a Lyman Trade Rifle. It's the only BP rifle I've had until recently. I've ordered a Astin Halleck Mountain Rifle. I've been into evil black rifles but got tired of all the attitudes involved in that testerone loaded atmosphere. I enjoy braintanning hides and living off the land. I am a licensed electrician that rarely does electrical work. I now manage a resturaunt. Anyways looking forward to becoming part of this community.

SEK???!!! You mean there is someone else on here from the area of my birth and youth??!! As a kid, I had long eyed the muzzleloaders in the window of a Parsons shop. When I went to KSCP (now PSU) I got hooked on muzzleloading. At that time, I didn't know many others who enjoyed the hobby. I now liver further north, but am still in Kansas. (NEK)

Welcome, and I know you will enjoy the information on this forum!
