Rondezvous at Old Greenville (1 or 2 miles south of Greenville) Missouri. I've gone for the past 3 years or so and it's mid-sized, fun and relaxed. It will be April 16th-17th with all the fixens( shooting match with hawk throw and fire starting etc, etc). I can just smell the wood fires now! :: I guess I'll take Old Thunder with me and find out how much more "sighting in" I need to do. That's my favorite excuse for my marksmanship. I will be there on Saturday.

Is this shoot easy to find?

I can't go on Saturday, but I might try Sunday.

Do they have strict primitive rules, or can us reglar folk go in our jeans?

It's right off a main state highway. Do a search for maps and stuff. I typed in Old Greenville Black powder shoot. Very relaxed atmosphere. It's open to the public and the PC rules only apply to the skinners actually setting up camp and staying for the weekend and unlike some stringent east coast events these Missouri rondys are a bit more relaxed. It's fun to shop from the trade blankets and the suttlers peddling their wares. Just beware of folks passing off some crap as authentic gear. It's also a good place to get raw materials and ideas. Come as you are and enjoy some tasty food.
