You just treat it like a full stock in a way. The rib is secured by pins to dovetailed in underlugs and the RR pipes drilled and pinned as usual. The only challenge is the rib is so tiny and thin. I had to file the underlugs and RR pipe tabs way down to keep everything looking right. If I had to do it again I'd use a hickory or maybe osage for the under rib...the curly ash is fragile to work with.
