I believe you shoot 9 times going around the course, but I haven’t been in a couple years. Twice at each of the first 3 stations and 3 times at the 4th.

10 STEEL PLATES on the trail but theres a range and its active in different competitions at 50 yards
The woods walk is a nine (9) shot event. all hammer falls count as a shot.

Based on the last time I did this, I may only 5 or 6 rounds. Lol
Idid all of them on saturday..then sunday wanted to do it again..i got 8 hits...and then found out that was the score and that you couldnt keep the best..oh well just fun anyways
I just found out about this. It sounds very fun. It is only about a three hour drive from where I live in central Connecticut.
edit: is the first day an event for the entire day? The Super Bowl is the 12th and I have plans that I otherwise wouldn't have made (lol). I would love to get up there for a day.

All events run on both Sat and Sunday.

So 50yds is a pretty good range to expect? I'm doing some sighting in this weekend and just want to know what I should be planning for?
50 yards max. I think most of the steel targets are 25-40 yards out.
shooting on the hill at swinging targets and cards and paper plates all day as the biathlon goes on also
I’ll be heading over tomorrow morning and am planning on staying most of the day. I’d love to meet some folks and maybe even find somebody to shoot with. It will be colder tomorrow, mid 20’s, could be icy. I will be bringing my ice creepers.
Bummer! It has been a crazy winter here in the North East. 62 degrees here in SE CT today.
