No snow, but the event was great! Eric and the local Manchester Rod & Gun Club put on one the best Winter muzzleloading events in the northeast. My highlight was seeing the new wheellock Canute Rex just got from Leonard Day.

No race/shooting pictures taken by me, but the full event info is here: https://www.svtpb.org/

Looking at this photo ... one barrel got shorter and the boy got taller! Thankfully, less the boy ... at least none of us got older.

FYI, we’re also putting out a call to any attendees, or others who may have good ideas, to add a NEW shooting contest to this event. A few of us might also setup a knife/hawk throwing station too, if even just for fun or bragging rights.

Knife and hawk throwing would be fun. A running deer target would alos be fun. They have a good hill there to run a target. We have a running boar at our club, and a running squirrel. Separates the men from the boys, as these targets are hard to hit, they move pretty fast.

The primitive biathlon got me interested in muzzle loading so now I am new to this sport and could use all the information needed to make this more enjoyable.
