Soy candle lube?

Hey all, it's time for me to make some more lubed wads for my revolvers. I currently don't have any beeswax but someone did give me an old "soy" candle that I was gonna use to make firestarters. I got to thinking though that it might be suitable for cutting with lard and making lubed wads out of. I'm sure there is some parrafin in there which I know is generally frowned upon for black powder use but has anyone tried this before. If it works ok, I'll have some nice strawberry lemonade scented wads

The only thing im concerned about is the parrafin creating that dreaded sticky fouling that everyone talks about with petroleum based lubes and black powder.

Is the soy based wax petroleum based? I thought it was all soy
