I purchased these spanish jukar pistols as a set for $150. Both have very loose triggers, but appear to function well. Any ideas on where to gets parts, such as springs? Also, the ram rods appear very long? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Deercreek Products carries parts for older CVA guns.
Jukar and CVA are pretty much one in the same. A lot of parts are interchangeable.
The ramrods appear to be OK as they are.

Loose triggers are common on their rifles and pistols. I have 1 Jukar flintlock Kentucky rifle and 1 Colonial pistol. Both have loose triggers. In the attached picture is how I have heard several people say the eliminated the sloppy trigger. A notch is cut it the back the the trigger and a spring is installed to remove the slop.

Both both seem to be fairly reliable.

On mine the triggers have no springs. They just flop around but work fine. A spring would be a nice idea though. A ball point pen would be a good source for the spring.
I personally don't mind the flop too much. I know when I take out the flop in the trigger, its engaged with the sear so it has a shorter trigger pull. You may still be able to feel this with the spring but haven't gotten around to installing one yet.
