Hi all. LOVE this new hobby and in it for the long term.
So, favoring the cute little 1851 Sheriff .44 by Pietta I'm asking what usually breaks on this model and what spare parts I should have on hand (if one lives waaaay out in the boondocks, for instance). Springs? Screws? Cylinder? Nipples? (stop it! LOL) Thoughts, good people?

Why not contact the distributor that you bought it from to see who does the warranty work on Pietta, they should have parts.

Good idea! Thank you :) The Bass Pro boys are more like Bass Am when it comes to muzzle loading but they can at least point me in the right direction.

On the off chance give Taylor's Fine Guns a call, ask for the Gunsmith and see if he can help.

Also VTI for parts.
