If you want to be able to shoot quickly, a cap post (also called a "rake") is "standard equipment" on race guns! It pretty much eliminates spent caps/ frags from jamming the action. Cap guns can even be "fanners" if setup properly. Not that you would be into fanning, just having the ability to do so means you can do anything you want to at that point!
It's definitely not something you can do ( on a normal basis) with an out of the box Italian revolver.
