Spike Mouse Hawk

Just finished this hawk for a friend and fellow forum member. Forged from a HC railroad spike, Maple handle with pewter and nickel silver inlays. Thanks for looking

The head and shaft balance perfectly in my hand. Hard to believe Tallpine hasn’t been working a forge his entire life. I thought his knife making was incredible…his hawks are even better!

I have the second one he made am very, very happy with it. I also have several of his knives and will tell your that Tallpine is not only an artist in steel but also someone who knows how to build a knife.

I should add that my hawk is very good at reaching that itch on my back that I can not otherwise scratch.
