Now I do use "spit patches" as it were to swab my bore out after shooting a few shots, but have yet to use them as an actual lube for a PRB. Just looking for some input on the pros and the cons of using spit patches for shooting.

Personally, soon after I first got involved in muzzleloading (after having tried a multitude of commercial lubes) I tried saliva and never looked back.
Benefits include no cost, ease of loading, no mess and not having to wipe between shots.
