SOLD Springfield Model 1963 Type 1

Up for consideration is an original Type 1 1863 Springfield. Bore os in goode shape with no pitting and the typical shallow rifling. Action is good and strong. Proofs marks, etc are present and pronounced.
Please see pictures for condition. There is a crack behind the action but nothing is loose and could just use the right knowhow to stabilize it.

Nice, it looks to be 100% correct. It would be easier to load & view if you went back and edited out the duplicate photos.

I just noticed that the screw hole for the sear and bottom bridle screw is empty. There could be a serious problem there, could you please provide a photo of the interior of the lock?

It's recessed and not missing fortunately. I appreciate your insight, Hawk
