Don't believe I've ever seen one like that. Is it adjustable for different bullet lengths/weights? I'm chompin at the bit to get into casting my own...someday.

Put lipstick on a pig & it's still a pig. If you're gonna get a new stock, another barrel, "better" lock and can't figger out how to adjust the double set trigger, so you want a different one, you'd be better off simply building a new rifle altogether with all those parts.

My GPR is a mighty fine pig as-is and shoots to my satisfaction. Someday when I'm tired of shooting it as-is, I'll get out the scrapers and slim down the dimensions on the stock some. Meanwhile, it goes bang every time I touch off the pan, and I can hit whatever I'm aiming at - most of the time.

But, now I have two rifles in one, each designed/intended for different tasks and I saved several hundred bucks  as opposed to buying a whole new rifle.....to each his own I guess.

 It certainly doesn't hurt or cost anything to dream.

It's all good,,,GoodCheer, just thought with 30 posts should have had more than 4 rifles shown :shake: But this site is famous for veering off course

Downside is that you can only shoot one at a time. Try swapping barrels back and forth during
an afternoon out shooting, and you'll discover that on the cheap limits your flexibility.

Besides, ML's multiply like rabbits, and you wouldn't want to hinder that.

Already done that at the range the other day. Using my thumbnail as a tool to push the two barrel wedges out I had those barrels changed in a matter of a few seconds flat. I agree though that you can only shoot one at a time, BUT, it doesn't matter if you have two barrels for one rifle or an unlimited number of rifles at your disposal, you can still only shoot one of them at a time. I also would agree that under certain circumstances, and in different situations, trying to fly cheap can cause you to crash, but with this particular, well thought out option, I couldn't possibly be happier. Unless of course now, I were fortunate enough to where money was absolutely no object and I could just simply on a whim buy whatever I wanted any time I wanted it, but that'll have to wait for another lifetime, if that's even at all possible

Had a good day at the range today with that 40 cal GM barrel. Worked my way up to a .025 mattress ticking spit patch with .395 ball and put eight balls in one big hole at 25 yards. It still feels like I could go a couple thousandths thicker with the patch though and I'd like to try some swaged or cast .400 balls but am having no luck locating either one so far. I believe a .400 ball and an .018 or .020 patch might just be where her magical sweet spot lies.

Thanks, don't know how I missed that

Just checked it out. Geez man, 100 balls is $10 and the shipping is $13!!!!! That's absolutely ridiculous! I refuse to be robbed like that. I'm gonna start working on getting some casting equipment right now! :cursing:
