Yep, most of the "Oldtimers" around here ate the brains.
I killed close to 200 this season with a rifle and shot most of them in the head. I don't know how many times I've heard, "You've rurnt the best part!!!" :haha:

Some old crazy lady moved into the area I grew up in. She small game hunted with a hawk and a basinji dog, is that what you are hunting with.
She would clean up the small game.( I was maby ten at the time )
She was pritty cool, was a bad innfluence on lots of us young folk.

Nope, the little dogs in the picture are feists. BJ, the one with the stand-up ears, does look a whole lot like a Basenji though.

shifty, we have a lot of folks chasin deer around here, but our gun seasons are short amd the bowhunters are so spread out that you hardly ever see one. I hunt mostly on public land and I never ran into a single hunter in the woods this past season.
Young folks here are the same way here. Deer and turkey are all they want to hunt.
Yep, I was talking about Tip from Cross Plains, TN

Nice shooting FW707 - and a good looking rifle as well. How many of those litle buggers does it take to get enough for a feed? We don't have squirrels down my way.

Robbo

Thanks Robbo.
I can handle 3-4 pretty easily myself. I like to cook 'em till they get tender, then make a thick white gravy on 'em.
