It’s a very very slim horn to start with, nice slight double twist. It will make a nice elegant horn when I’m done.

That horn could end up fantastic. I'd be tempted to scrape the clear part of it back thin enough to be translucent, then decide how much further I wanted to take it.
I actually thought of that, but a lot is going to depend on what it looks like when the body straightened around. Heck, I may have file enough back it might be transluscent anyhow.. lol
