I'm not any kind of expert but there's a lot of inaccuracies, but its to be expected in a mainstream article.
Last paragraph of the article,
This story was originally published in the June 1948 issue of Outdoor Life under the title "Fabulous Firearm: The Kentucky Rifle." The text been minimally edited to meet contemporary standards.
A lot of new information has came out in the last 75 years , something to consider.
