With current shortages on #10 caps, I found these at my LGS and they made me a great discount price on them(I think they were just trying to get rid of them).
The one tin that I opened and used, fired every time, but I’ve never seen these before.

That was a lucky find, and a smart purchase! If kept dry, percussion caps have a very long shelf life. I have a few tins of Alcan #12 caps from the late sixties, and they work fine.

You mentioned finding these at LGS. I'm at a loss... What is LGS?

I have a tin exactly like those which was purchased when I bought my first ML, a CVA Kentucky kit in '73. The tin does not indicate the size but I see on the box they are #10s.
 
I remember those Remington caps from the 1970's. I can't recall ever having a mis-fire.
I have some 3-400 of the old German #12's from the late 60's - early 70's. But I can't recall why I have them ?? LOL
