I not sure how to say this so I'm going to ramble and you'll get the idea. I would like to have a section for a monthly project that everyone can do and show off their finished work. We can think of it kinda like a class taught by someone that knows what they're doing for us that blindly fumble around.

Example: Possible/Hunting bag. Someone can tell everyone the things they will need for for project, we (students) can aquire them and the next month, class begins. Everyone gets their assignment for the week, etc.

We could do projects on knives, powder measurers, horns, clothes, and etc. Then we could put them in the FAQ section so when others have questions, they have really have some clear answers. Plus I think it would be fun to see everyones work. I've personally made 2 pouches and haven't been pleased with them. Everytime I make one I find things I need to change, but this wastes time and leather.

I know you have enough work on your hands with the day to day operations and adding another section just compounds the headaches, But I just thought it would be a way to make the forum a little more interactive.

Oh the humainity..... This is one I did last year, I use it to carry my journal, food, and GSP. I did it all wrong: bad stitching, deer hide (to thin), the strap was made out of belt leather that I had to divide to make it thin enough, and it goes on and on. The "repair" was actually on purpose, please someone stop me before I strike again.

This sounds like a great idea.

The Muzzleloading Forum may be changing it's format in a couple of months and one of the features we hope to have will be online seminars or how-to clinics.

Sort of a cross between show and tell and shop class...

I give it two red thumbs up... :redthumb: :redthumb:

NOW we are talking...or is that doing??...not sure....but man would I love to see that....I sure need some larning :D

That sounds fantastic..... I would love a "how to" section but (just my opinion) I would hate for it to have to many things going on at once. I wouldn't be able to keep up with all of them. Claude and the Mods continue to do a fantastic job so I'm sure this will not disappoint.

Slowpoke, With all the complaining you are doing about your own possibles bag, did you ever consider raffling that off using the ticket stubs you sold to Bob1961 :blah:?
If you offer food with the classes, you might get more people interested. We could call it lunch and learn. It would definetly be low in calories :haha:.
I look forward to the first in a series of many.

With my abilites, the best I've been able to do so far is make firewood out of a gunstock, but it sounds like fun. :redthumb:

How about this; submit your plans to Claude or a moderator and let them schedule them at one a month, when your month comes up you will be responsible to post the pictured process. just a thought.
This sounds great....I can finally learn by seein'. :redthumb: :redthumb:

The process will be somewhat different. We'll announce the new feature in January if all goes well.
