I ran the course early this morning while the ground was still frozen to get a feel of what it will be like running without snow or snowshoes and it was fine. It will be muddy today and tomorrow but we are expecting a good freeze up Friday night in time for Saturdays opening. The times will be faster than last year due to not having to wear the snowshoes so you may want to run it a few time to try to improve your score.
