Swivel breech rifle build

It has been a rough year with some major injuries that took me off the board. But, I’m better now and I’m back working on the swivel breech rifle from the David Price kit.

It is coming along pretty good. The attached YouTube play list has all the build videos on the project so far.

In general, how are you finding this build vs. the others you have done?

It is way different from building a single barrel rifle, so I spend about 100 hours thinking about how to do something for every hour of actual chisel time.

Pretty soon I'll be at the point where the scary stuff is behind me and it will be a matter of decorating and finishing...but I'm not there yet.

After watching you build that swivel breach rifle I'm glad I use my little soot generating hurricane lamp - a LOT less messy :grin: . Keep up the good work. P.S. these are two different rifles shown.
