You could start by doing a local search for a general gunsmith. As far as this site gos. Maybe put up your location. Who knows maybe there is a guy down the street from you who is on this forum and can weld.

I don't think you can weld on a set of double barrels. The heat will kill them. Someone with more experience in this area needs to chime in.

Shouldn't weld on barrels at all.....especially doubles as they are soldered to the rib.

What specifically is the issue? No offence, but your post is a little hard to follow.

Enjoy, J.D.

several years back I bought two barrels for $17.50 each from numrich arms. I had an old J P Clabrough I cut of the breech off 3" up and had them bored out to fit the barrels that were turned down to fit the breech,Idid mess up with trying to solder the barrels to the breech so I V groved them thinking more solder was better it did not work and was told by the president of the vintergers I would have to tig weld them wich I did witch leaves a little rig in side the barrels
but did not matter as I hand to lengthen the chambers. I am still work on that project weighting to be able to afford the funds to make a jig from plan sent to me from Sweden. best,Bill
