I would like to replace the brass Hawken furniture on my T/C. I can replace most parts with Renegade parts except the buttplate and patchbox.
Where would I get a buttplate and patchbox that would fit reasonably well without alot of fitting?
I would like to "brown" them because I feel it fits the Hawken better.
Thank you

The Hawken Shop has a convertion kit for your T/C. I know they have a forend cap for a 1" barrel but I don't know if they make one for a 15/16".

The items from the Hawken shop are rough steel castings that will need work before you install them. I haven't got mine handy right now -- I have basically the same plan you have -- but as I remember the butt plate isn't drilled for screws. I used babbit metal to cast a fore end tip for my rifle sometime back, and haven't gotten around to working with the steel parts yet. It's been a slow project.
