T/C Buckeye Carbine, .50 Cal Percussion Rifle. 19" Barrel, Bore is in great shape, LOP about 13-5/8", and an overall length of about 36" and weighs about 6lbs 7.3oz. Features a traditional butt plate rather than the pad that the White Mountain Carbine has, factory tang sight and front bead. These are supposedly a 1/48" twist. A few handling marks as you'd expect. The handiest muzzleloader I've handled, this would make an excellent hunting rifle and it won't tire a new or youth shooter either.

These Buckeye's are legitimately an extremely rare gun. Estimates are that only 300 to 500 of these were made for the retailer and this one is serial number BSS333. In two decades of muzzleloading this is the only one I've ever encountered. A very rare and very practical gun that needs a new home for Christmas.

I’ve got one. They throw a pretty decent round ball. You cant beat this gun for compact and portable.

I looks identical to mine, and I believe it came with the tc peep. Mine certainly did.

Yes factory peep sight and stock. It's quite a nice sight picture.

I swear every day I learn of a new model Thompson Center has made. I really want that to come back. The past 20 years TC has laid a creative egg.

I don't think TC even exists anymore. S&W bought them and it seems they gave up on TC stuff. At least on the traditional stuff.

That's why value on existing TC muzzleloaders keeps rising. Like this carbine. I've only ever seen one of these and I bought it.

People keep piecing out TC guns on ebay. That alone makes them expensive. Keeping these fine firearms intact is better
for buyers and collectors.
