I have a friend who shoots a Thompson/Center Fire Storm flintlock and he uses those awful cut flints... I want to send him some black English flints and I can't find a size anywhere on the 'net... I even downloaded the owners manual!

Do any of you have a T/C Fire Storm and can you tell me what size flints will work best?

Thanks!

Gene

The Firestorm uses the same lock as the other TC flintlock rifles. I like 3/4 wide by 7/8 long but I use 3/4 sq and they work fine, too.

BTW, if your friend really wants to make it work, tell hin to use 3f GOEX main load and 4f prime. It is a very fast combo.

Agree...and the old 'when in doubt' rule of thumb is a good one...using the width of the frizzen to select the size.
