T/C Hawken rear sight ?

I have seen somewhere, a one piece rear sight for a T/C Hawken that fit the rear sight holes, not one that required a dovetail. I love my Hawken but hate the adjustable rear sight. Does anyone remember who sells them?

Thompson Center used to sell them as a hunting sight that matched up with the Patridge front sight the sold. I would say your only recourse for those today is to put a search in Ebay and wail. Does your rear sight have the flared out back piece or the square one ? The flared model was really made for hunting and the square one was for target shooting.

I just bought a set on fleabay,,, you will also need the correct front sight. Part number for rear is 907 or 9070. Front is 906 or 9060.

I replaced the adjustable sights on my T/C Hawken years ago with the rear sight part 9070 shown in another post here and a T/C Patridge front sight. I'm not certain if others had problems holding sight settings with early adjustable sight, my gun is from the mid 1970s, I sure thought I did. Once I drifted and filed them in, the rear sight blade and plenty of height so I didn't need to take anything off the front sight, my problems holding zero went away.

Just last week I shot this gun for the first time in something like 3 years, the sights held true as they have since my initial sight in way back when.

Tried the 9070 sight on guns back in the day. They worked ok, but just couldn’t get over my dislike of how they looked. Too modern, even for a TC. Pretty sure I sold them off or gave them away.

I'll agree, it is not pretty but it works well for me. 50 yds last week after a few years having to been fired.
