T/C Hawkin and Renegade Interchangable?

I have a flintlock T/C Hawkin and a Percussion T/C Renegade. I was wondering if the lock and barrel from the Hawkin would fit on the Renegade.

The lock will fit both, but the Hawken barrel has to be a 1" (.54/.58cal) size to fit the Renegade 1" barrel bed

It probably won't work then because the Hawkin is a .50. Thanks!

I think that the Hawken barrel is 15/16". Just undersize.

The hawkin barrels can be "shimmed " to fit the renegade and the gaps filled with bees wax. ( The old timers glass bedding)While it isn't kosher it will work. I did this on my boys frontier rifle about twenty years ago when I switched it from 50 caliber to 45. It worked well for twenty years and last week I put the fifty back in with no problem . My neighbor borrowed it for his wife to try and all he shoots is fifty's.

There are two different size Hawken stocks:

One has a 15/16" barrel bed for the 15/16" .45/.50cal barrels;

The larger size stock has a 1" barrel bed for the 1" .54/.58cal barrels

I think he was pointing out the misspelling of "Hawken", which I see even RMC doesn't know how to spell. It's not a "Hawkin" or a "Hawkins", or even a "Hawkens". It is "Hawken".
