Roundball,

I knew that Musketman started the thread, and he likewise has lots of good stuff to post - even if he is the authority figure and we are supposed to rebel against him for that.. :blah:

Heck, most of the folks that post here are great folks! Very helpful and supportive. Occasionally a troll will throw something up and that takes the shine off things. (Actually, I got tired of reading the tripe from someone that used to post here and that is part of the reason I took a short leave)

I bought a used T/C from a gun shop, I ended up with a crack in the stock up by the hammer, I called and ask them bout it, I told them where I got it and they said to send it in and they would look at it,, I got a new stock back with all new hardware in/on it, I messed up a peep sight (the eye piece) and asked them to send me nother, They did, even after I told them there was nothin wrong with the one they sent, (I messed it up), they still didn't charge me, I asked them for a 2 new clips to hold my solid brass ram rod it, The old one wouldn't do it so I wanted 2 new ones,, Again,, no charge,
The only bad thing I can say bout T/C is,,,, ( IMHO, MY. EXPERIENCE, WHAT I HAVE FOUND, YOUR VIEWS MAY VARY) A green mountain barrel (54 cal) will shoot rings round a T/C 1 in 66 twist 50 cal barrel,, even after T/C checked it out and sent it back to me,,,,

Bottom line,, I like T/C,, The only one I own and need for what I do,,,

I only have one rifled barrel from GM, a .58cal, so I can't make a hard fast statement about GM barrels across the board...but I can & will say that this particular .58cal GM barrel is extremely accurate, possibly the most accurate barrel I own...and I own a few TC 1:66" barrels in different calibers.

The only difference that seems to make sense to me is that I think GM uses cut rifling instead of button rifling and their grooves seem deeper than TC's...if I get that .58 x 1:70" front sight sort of in the general area of the target center the ball just seems to find the bullseye like a heat seeking missle...80/90/100grns Goex 2F...doesn't matter, they're all the same...an extremely accurate barrel for sure.

"yes, I put him on ignore as soon as he started posting on the forum...'

That brings up an interesting thought....I wonder WHO is on the most ignore lists, I think I am up there close to the top, and I love it..(VBG)

Why do you go out of your way to push peoples, (especially Roundballs) buttons?

Rebel, I'm assuming that's a rhetorical question. If not PM me and I will answer it for you. If you prefer an answer in public, please start a thread in "non muzzleloading" called "why push buttons" and I will be glad to answer it there. As I'm sure you understand, we don't want to highjack this thread. You asked a valid question and deserved a response.

Thanks
Cody

Or who HAS the longest list of people they are ignoring

...yes, I put him on ignore as soon as he started posting on the forum...didn't take long to see that the trend of his posts contained nothing of value, and worse, they all looked like, sounded like, and smelled like the posts of a troll...not worth wasting time with

TRYING not to highjack this thread but feel a quick response to this is in order (hopfully this will be the end of it within this thread). I've been a member here for 3 years or so and have almost 500 posts. Some are exchanges with roundball himself. The last exchange in which RB replied directly to a post of mine was 2 weeks ago on May 8. Now I don't know how this "ignore" thing works, but it seems to me that if I was put on ignore "as soon as he started posting on the forum" (3 years ago or so), it would be difficult for RB to respond to posts he can't see. I'll keep my opinion of what this means to myself and let y'all draw your own conclusions. Again, if anyone wants to disscuss this further, PM me or start a thread in non muzzleloader but lets not do it here

Thanks
Cody

This thread has been violated, all I was doing was stating how good of a response I got from Thompson Center, it has nothing to do with who's on who's ignore list, seems like some people are not meant to post together in the same thread...

Thanks a lot guys... :(
