This gun is new never fired I’m original owner, have two selling the unused one no box or manual takes screw in chokes comes with a full choke, been a safe queen all its life this is the newer version the front tang screw goes all the way through to the trigger assembly, only blemish the trigger guard has a couple of rust spots from where it was not wiped down good before storing otherwise gun is spotless see pic perfect bore $850 plus shipping would consider trade for a 20ga/62cal Fowler or trade gun + $ on my end if needed, if your within a couple hours of middle Tn I’ll meet you half way

Please pardon my 2 cents, These are amazing guns, if they are in good condition as this one seems to be, they are a bargain.
You couldn't begin to make one like it for that price.
They are quick to point, light to handle. A real hunters gun,
I have no part in the sale of this fine gun, but have used them, owned them. And hold them in high regard.
They are no longer available, and no one will make them for the asking price.
You couldn't buy the parts for the asking price.
Have a great day!
Fred

Several people have asked about availability of different chokes, these take a standard size choke that most shotguns used back when they where built, so different size chokes are readily available

My New Englander 12 gauge takes Winchester/Mossberg/Invector choke tubes. You can also come across "Thompson Center" chokes on eBay occasionally. Remington tubes do not work.

Remington chokes have the same .812 x 32 threads but the first 1/2 or 3/4 inch above the threads is .817 inch diameter. Chucked in a drill press and a few minutes with a fine file will make them work in other guns.

Not only does this shotgun make a great sporting gun, TC made a .50 cal barrel that drops right into this stock.
Finding the .50 barrel happens on occasion. Finding the shotgun barrel ... that is like pulling hens teeth.

I'd take it, but I am so tapped out at the moment.

Anyone on the fence should grab it. These don't come around often and they are no longer produced.
