I have a crack in the stock of my patriot at the lock bolt. Does anyone know of someone who is duplicating these . T/C has none and offers no help

I think everyone that owns a TCP has a crack at the
lock screw. I have one in .45 that cracked years
ago. Just sealed it with a good glue, and it has been
fine.
This is caused by shooting heavy loads, usally those above
30 grs. They shoot best at about 23 grs. of 3f. It
seems most of them cracked shooting 777 or some other Sub.
Shooters tend to over load with things like 777. Don't
go above 20 with the Subs.
The only way you can get a new stock is from a custom
shop. These were made in .36 and .45 great shooters
but were not intended to be magnums.
