Does the treehawk in 50 cal shoot a conical or is this a turkey gun of some sorts. I have seen ehat appears to be a choke tube that you can install on these. To the best of my knowledge this is a conical or sabot rifle. I have a couple of White Mountain carbines in this configuration.

According to T/C catalog # 19, The Treehawk was available in a carbine, with a 21" barrel, with a 1 in 20" twist. this would make it a sabot/conical shooter. It was also offered in a shotgun, with a 28" barrel. It did accept screw in chokes. Both were offered in Realtree, or Mossy Oak Bottomland finish.

Does anyone know what type of finish is on the barrel of these rifles? is it painted or is it a type of laminate?
