Has anyone tried to build a track of the wolf kentucky pistol? What was your experience? I built a t.o.w. trade gun last year and was happy with the service/parts.
Assuming I do a decent job of it, how much better a flint pistol will it be then say a Traditions assembled flinter?

The difference would be comparable to night and day. With the TOW kit, you will have a reasonably correct gun. The traditions would be no more than a shadow of an original. You will have to put in more work and effort with the TOW, but you will have a lot more to show for your investment and time.

Well, the TOTW will have some of the best American made hardware available in it.
The same can be said for parts from Pecatonica River, Muzzleloader Builders Supply, TVM, Chambers...

Chambers Silar, L&R, Davis, these are the names of some of the best locks available anywhere in the world.
Rice, Getz, GreenMountain, Rayl and others make some of the very best muzzleloading barrels in the world.

I don't think I can say that about a Traditions or for that matter, Pedersoli or Uberti guns.
